Jeg synes ærlig talt, det er en klumme under din standard. Hvad er din pointe? At Pia Kjærsgaard alligevel er racist inderst inde? Hvis du mener det, så sig det dog i stedet for at komme med den slags insinuationer baseret på 15 år gamle avisklip fra Politiken.

Jeg er som liberalist meget uenig med Pia Kjærsgaard, men jeg synes faktisk ikke, det er fair at forsøge at skyde hende i skoene, at hun er racist baseret på en 15 år gammel artikel fra Fremskridtspartiets tid. Og med et enkelt ord citeret ud af sammenhæng er der ingen af os læsere, der har nogen reel mulighed for at vurdere udsagnet.

Hvorfor går du ikke efter DF's politik i stedet for efter personen Pia Kjærsgaard? Det ville klæde dig bedre.

Jamen hvordan kan det være at det er ok at samligne dem med kaniner, men samtidig nok til at kræve en undskyldning, hvis nogen kommer for skade at tage fejl af valget af dyr?

Inspireret af den aktuelle vejrsituation i Jylland vil jeg sige, at Simon Emils pointe skinner klart som et kuglelyn! Og jeg føler mig nu fint i stand til at vurdere Pia Kjærsgaards udsagn. Det er svært at udtale sig om, om folk er racister inderst inde - for vi kan jo ikke komme ind i hovedet på hinanden. Men at omtale indvandrere i fornedrende vendinger, som Pia Kjærsgaard gør her, viser, hvordan hun bedriver politik. Og hvis noget er "under standard", er det at omtale minoriteter negativt for at vinde tilslutning til en modstand mod dem uden at argumentere for sine politiske synspunkter. Det er et meget effektivt greb, som bl.a. Pia Kjærsgaard anvender dygtigt, men som man ikke kan forsvare at bruge rent etisk. For mig at se kalder Simon Emil ikke Pia Kjærsgaard racist, men han peger på den måde, hun omtaler indvandrere på. Da denne måde er dybt uetisk, stærkt generaliserende og stadig anvendes i 2009, er klummen aktuel trods et 15 år gammelt citat.

Jeg må også tilslutte mig, at det her ikke handler om, at Simon Emil går efter personen Pia Kjærsgaard, men hendes måde at bedrive politik og netop hendes holdninger.

Èn ting er, at det er dybt latterligt at forlange en undskyldning, når der citeres i forhold til rotter, når man selv taler om kaniner. Vi kan vel blive enige om, at udsagnets betydning er det samme - og fristes til at fortsætte sangen: Potato, potahto...

Og vigtigst er netop betydningen; at det overhovedet kan komme ud over Pia Kjærsgaards læber, at fremmede formerer sig som kaniner (har selv lige læst artiklen), viser da netop hendes indsnævrede holdninger og menneskesyn. Og på noget så grundlæggende som menneskesynet, er det da vigtigt, at en politiker som Simon Emil markerer sig - det er i hvert fald det grundlæggende menneskesyn, der har størst betydning for min politiske overbevisning.

Jeg synes man skal se på hvad Isak Winkel Holm sagde, og i hvilken sammenhæng. Hun sagde

"det er ikke så lang tid siden, at Pia Kjærsgaard talte om indvandrere, og sagde at de formerede sig som rotter"

Der er altså ikke tale om en forveksling af dyr fra en 15 år gammel udtalelse eller noget fra hendes tid i Fremskridtspartiet, men om at Isak Winkel Holm ganske uden den mindste anledning (Udsendelsen var en samtale om en af Franz Kafka's værker) fremsætter en løgn for at sætte en person - der ikke får lov at forsvare sig i udsendelsen - i et krænkende lys.

Derfor er en undskydning på plads, den burde nu også være kommet fra Isak Winkel Holm selv, men det er hun åbenbart for moralsk for svag til.

@ Pedersen - pointen er nu mere, at man skal passe på med at beskylde DR for alt muligt og svinge sig op til undskyldninger og den slags. Når der alene er tale om forskel i dyrevalget...

@ Jensen - jeg tror, at det vil være godt at mindske DF's indflydelse. Eksempelvis ved at Borgerligt Centrum får brudt VKO-flertallet, så regeringen også skal tage os med på råd. Men når det er sagt, så er der jo også ting, vi er enige med DF om.

@ Lund - det tidsmæssige er selvfølgelig endnu et perspektiv. Men det er nu ikke det, som er kommet frem sammen med undskyldningen. Nu er der vel også mest brug for en undskyldning, hvis Pia K. havde skiftet holdning - ellers er det vel bare hykleri.
